I am watching Twitch streams and I am not seeing what the reviews are raving about. The Hitman segments are very small and basic. The paths through them are extremely obvious and in your face.The stealth is brain dead. It takes more than a second for the alert bar to fill up even when you are right in front of an enemy. And since you can do stealth takedowns from the front, its very unlikely you would ever get accidentally spotted The gun play is very arcadey. Bullet trails everywhere. Red barrels everywhere. Enemies in silly Iron Man metal suits even in the tutorial.The only part that looks decent is hand to hand. Its Arkham style, but I think the animations look better than Arkham because it looks like some real martial artists did the mocapping. Like Bond's kickboxing looks about as good as a UFC game, and him doing actual Judo throws takes me back to MGS3.

The whole point is that you're playing a movie and you get to control the star.Problem is that "movie game" now means you walk, watch cutscenes, and follow yellow paint for hours. In first light it's almost a half hour before you get to sneak by anyone and that's still in the tutorial. Then you do a tutorial takedown on one guy by pressing square; after that it's another HALF HOUR of intro, cutscenes, talking, walking/talking, GTA driving and talking, and then you get ANOTHER TUTORIAL, then ANOTHER half hour of walking, talking, cutscenes, talking, etc. then finally you get to play the first actual level.
