Destiny 2 was only possible because Activision supported Bungie with Vicarious Visions and other studios (but mostly Vicarious Visions). Without Activision Bungie cannot make a Destiny 3. Destiny 2 was an Activision game as much as a Bungie one.

If they just accepted it was over after Final Shape and added back the old content and guns people want, things would have been so much better. That was always their promise with the scamtastic "content vault".Also Bungie has been syphoning resources from the Destiny 2 to make Marathon for years, it's not surprising Destiny players hate that game.
