I liked Yuri from DDLC, I thought she was a neat character with solid writing. I also thought Class of '09 was funny, I did love Jecka the most out of everyone involved however.

Mental illness is nearly impossible to portray authentically and actual attempts are going to be unappealing to most people because it makes them too uncomfortable. Chronic conditions in general are pretty much impossible to convey in any true way. Seeing a character suffering from depression going through the same negative thought patterns over and over is boring. Schizos can be interesting but once the plot starts confirming their delusions it undermines the entire reason the illness is so debilitating.
