I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Break In, is in fact, Fairgame$/Break In, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Fairgame$ plus Break In. Break In is not a new game unto itself, but rather another marketable component of a fully functioning live service project made useful by CGI trailers, extraction shooter mechanics, and vital rebranding components comprising a full Sony initiative as defined by “finding the fun.”

Many PlayStation users are discussing a modified version of Fairgame$ every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of Fairgame$ which is widely speculated about today is often called “Break In,” and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the Fairgame$ system, developed by Haven Studios.

There really is a Break In, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the project they use. Break In is the rebrand: the program in the marketing strategy that allocates the shareholders’ optimism to the other live service initiatives that you run. The rebrand is an essential part of a modern Sony release cycle, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete extraction shooter. Break In is normally used in combination with the Fairgame$ live service ecosystem: the whole system is basically Fairgame$ with Break In added, or Fairgame$/Break In. All the so-called “Break In” announcements are really announcements of Fairgame$/Break In.

Thank GOD. Fromsoft saw the Demon's Souls butchering and said no.

I swear /v/ is the only sane place on the internet. Everyone else just eats up slop and asks for more.

These are the same people crying about how AI can't do anything original, but somehow they want a company to survive purely on remakes.

My hypothesis is that he fucking hated the Demon's Souls remake, but was too polite to say so in public.
