>>739668323I feel bad for the Origins dev team. I watched an interview with the lead dev and he said they were fans of the series and didn't want to make the first "bad Silent Hill game." He also said that a lot of their work had to be scrapped after Konami was unsatisfied with it. The team ended up having to make most of the game with only half their original development time.

And monsters aren't ever a big enough threat that you need to use your best weapons, so either beat them down with trash or shoot them if you want to hurry and move on.The bosses were a joke, complete with their dollar store Pyramid Head that's hyped up and then killed off so easily it doesn't even matter.Locations are cool, monster designs can be interesting when not a direct copy, I do agree it has a good track or two, and the story is not only a rewrite but awful on top of that.

I liked Mixtape, and then watching people overreact here for reasons that didn't exist. Then after they got exposed they made other excuses. It was really eye opening. To be fair you guys did the same thing over their previous game Edith Finch
Pic related is a bad game but I still finished it in one sitting. For the low price of free it wasn't too terribly unplayable and had some decent atmosphere.
