I'm really glad I didn't know about the infinite climb and air jump glitches until after I'd already finished the game. I probably would have resorted to using them and cheaped the first playthrough for myself. But now I can replay it and have fun going out of bounds. The whole megastructure has collision, so you can explore any area if you feel like it.

The game is a solid 7/10, imo. The parkour can be kind of wonky at times and the combat doesn't have much depth to it, but I'm still having fun. I hope we get some DLC down the line. Also, P and her moles a cute.

Gameplay is actually pretty fun. Lots of tense moments when you're making jumps and trying not to run out of momentum. The game world itself is excellent. I loved exploring it. Yeah, the checkpoints are breakable if you go out of bounds. Speedrunners are using this to death warp to the top in like 5 minutes.

To climb walls infinitely, you run up them holding forward, wait for P to begin turning and then attack backwards. Immediately afterwards, hold forwards again and jump. You're hit the wall and run up it a little bit, taking you higher than before. Rinse and repeat.

This one's easy. Run off a ledge without jumping, then attack and jump. It lets you jump about 50% further, or around corners.

Just like the megastructure P came from before and the one you spend the main game in, it just goes up into another layer after this. The game leads you to believe that what you're in is THE megastructure, but the Easter egg room in chapter 3 shows that the whole place the game is set is just one tiny node of the whole megastructure.
P has been ascending for a long time and she'll keep going up until her disease converts her into a robot herself. I figure the slicers who are converted are sent to defend the alpha structure from Z, which is why none of them are in P's relatively boring structure.

Funny you say ball. That's what I thought was at the top of the first mega structure until I got close enough and it clicked for me. The fact that it was a hole in the sky was the last thing I could have guessed because that's such an impossible thing. I liked that twist.

But anyway, here's the actual thing at the top of the 2nd megastructure. It faked me out into thinking it was another hole, to a sphere, to this disk thing.. I could still go higher but called it quits. Interestingly, there appeared to be some hills or something off in the distance. You can see them in the pic. I knew it would take days to reach them, so I didn't bother checking. I might do it later if I can go into the freecam files and mod the camera speed to mach 2 or something.

The train boss not recovering after being parried was kind of a letdown. I suspected you were supposed to ride it, but never found out for sure until I replayed the fight and just jumped into the train, which felt like it would have splattered me but didn't. The cutscene of P holding on as it ascends was worth the replay, though. In any other game, P would have been screaming "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK" as it happened. That's one of the little things I liked about Motorslice. The MC doesn't quip.

The interactivity with P filled that need for me. All the little things she can do. I know this sounds retarded, but it blew my mind the first time I was idling near a railing and P just leaned on it by herself. And of course there's the things like zooming in to make her blush.

IMO the megastructure was interesting enough to merit exploration for its own sake. I didn't need loads of easter eggs or some hidden messages like "the cake is a lie". The lore tidbits in the slack off scenes were more than intriguing enough. Like why does P refer to Z as an "it", the dead skeleton, and so on.

If I was bored with the world, maybe. But I just wasn't. I found it fascinating and I was going out of bounds just for the hell of seeing the megastructure from different angles.

Some people lamented that there's no reward for collecting the orbs. The dev will be adding cosmetic rewards in the future for them. But to me, each orb was simplely more gameplay. Many of them take you off the main path and present a pakor challenge to acquire them. I loved collecting the orbs because doing that was the reward for me.

Nothing in the water. If you try to teleport above it, you just fall through it, back to the lower megastructure. If you make P land on anything solid in the 2nd megastructure, the game treats it as you reaching the end. It locks the camera and limits you to walking speed, then the credits roll. Here's me making P freefall from the top of the pillar. It took a few minutes to reach the bottom. I was ridiculously high up and took the pic after falling for a minute.

As for the "specific varieties" of the 2nd MS, it's all textured in the same blue digital camo pattern as the pillar. Except for the top surfaces. Those are all sand textured, which you can see in the pictures. I don't have any closer shots at the moment. Even though the structure is huge, there's no real nuance to it up close. It's just the connected towers and pipes like you can see normally in the ending.

well the previous MS is not loaded until P falls down enough in the hole, so it's completely unreachable just with freecam, and if you go down the hole and let it load, freeze the game with freecam, and go down there, the moment you teleport P there she's already been falling long enough to reach death velocity, so she just dies.
it would be nice to try and see if you can make P reach that MS below alive, but the only way i can think of it being possible with the restrictions i described is if you:
1) start falling in the hole
2) freeze the game before reaching death velocity
3) go down with freecam, but not too far
4) teleport P where you are
5) repeat
over and over and over and over, until you hopefully reach down enough for that previous MS to load without P ever reaching death velocity, which hopefully should then allow you to freecam to that MS and telport P there

I actually did try going there and ran into the same problem as you described regarding P dying if I unfroze time. I was content to just check the place out with the paused freecam and see how far under the map it was.

However, I've seen another person get P down there alive. They said most of the objects have collision. I've also seen at least 1 trainer for the game which gives P infinite health, so maybe that's the trick to it. Or maybe they did the multiple teleport trick you described.

Actually now that I think about it, there are ways to take P out of terminal velocity. You can do an air jump into a wall to initiate a wall climb or wall run, which makes the camera stop shaking and lets you land without dying. An airjump is where you run off a ledge without jumping, then attack and do a jump. Sometimes if you fall too far, you lose the ability to attack, but you can prevent this by spamming attack as you fall to glide. You might not even need freecam at all to get down to the lower biome. Just a turbo controller to spam attack for you while falling in the tunnel, then a bit of luck finding a wall you can jump into before hitting the ground.

Well the 2nd megastructure is just a bunch of tubes and rectangles. It's obviously not meant to be a playable map and never was. It's supposed to resemble one, though. Maybe at some point we were intended to be able to look up and get a glimpse of the next skyhole. I mean the disk looks just like a skyhole from below. There's no way up to it except literally flying. So it's up in the air as to what the dev intended.

just finished the pirated copy of the game. I've seen people getting 251 orbs or just mentioning it, i got only 250, i got the message about getting the last one, got another one nearby, and finished the boss afterwards (while also dying several times)
Actually i also ignored all of the "slack off" points, dunno why. Like i remember doing the same in the demo, because i didn't like the scene (not hating it, just didn't like it enough to care) would've loved to get mute version of the ending, but man, there isn't one.
