>>739698902It's ridiculous how good squirrels are in comparison to every other summon not including extra crows, high speed, extra attacks, their initial summon spells are expensive but bring a whole group of them so your basic attack can power them up, and even most of the passives about familiars show you a squirrel because that's what you should be using, most of them like super friends and the one that gives you an elite every 3 familias benefit from group summoning. They should give you an incentive to the other summons like frogs having extra movement, caterpillars having stealth and turtles having some silly +10 chain knockback if attacked by an ally

I've done two runs through the Moon now with a Butcher, Thief, and Druid and I've come to really like these classes.It always starts out rough in the Desert but once they get some levels they spiral really quickly. I was lucky the Thief got Swift Looter both times too.

Scattershot+Rubber bullets is still a screen clear and Hunter's boon is still OP as fuck because it makes your int stat irrelevant-throw out a maggot or summon a fly, hit it with needle shot or something and max out your mana every turn. The fact that you can do this only once is not an issue, once is all you need.Mages are bad, hitting frozen enemies is fine but stunning allies is not. Elemental damage is a joke and doesnt scale. Tinkerers are still bad, too rng reliant to make their kits come together. They also get bent over extra hard by elite buffs so they're a lost cause in higher difficulties

If Tinkerer hadn't had Repair, nobody would begin to run it at all since items would never last so you end up with the most self-sufficient classes on top anyway e.g. Hunter and Fighter.
