Basically I stumbled across an 80's TPB of Venom vs. Spider-Man and that introduced me to Venom in his OG form, and comic MJ who was married, hot, and fun to read her banter with Peter. That intrigued me ever since alongside reading the AF15, ASM 50 (Spider-Man No More), and Kraven's Last Hunt. When you're able to tell if a book looks like it's from a certain era and you read the important stories then you get an idea of where the character is at and then read a bit more and you'll see how they got there. So yeah I haven't read it completely.
