Let me guess, you need more?

yes

SAAAAAAR
>>
>>739730474
yes. even the most basic third party controllers these days are hall effect buttons and triggers and they're cheaper.
>>
>>739730474
>no gyro
it's shit
>>
>>739730474
Two buttons on the back of the base controller and yeah.
>>
>>739730474
Yeah. I mean how the fuck am I supposed to play Deus Ex (2000) on that shit?
>>
>>739730474
love it but got stick drift in 2 controllers, never again
>>
>>739730847
Emulate PS2 version
>>
>>739730901
I soldered TMRs into mine.

But also look up DriftGuard. It might fix it.
>>
>>739730474
never realized how trash xbox controllers were until i bought third party ones
>>
>>739731135
I did. I played it with m/kb because it's one of the few PS2 games that has native support and it's just better that way.
But I'd love to play the game properly on a controller. I've been thinking about making a custom mapping for the steam controller but I only have the original and feel like the new one would be better.
>>
>>739730474
Gyro, 4+ fully remappable extra buttons, and magnetic or capacitive sticks at minimum.
>>
>>739730474
>LB button breaks
>>
>>739730707
Gyro works better as joycons. If those vr companies were smart they'd sell the controllers apart from the visor

Fucking peasants.
>>
>>739730474
This controller is total ass, zero redeeming qualities.
>>739732115
Controller evolution in general should have continued branching off of the Wii instead of the 360, 7th and 8th gen was a total shitshow. Even the Switch Joycons branch off the 360 instead of continuing from VR controllers.
>>
>>739730474
Yes I need more.
I need something that has better build quality and won't develop stick drift in months
In other words, I need some third party chink controller that's significantly better while being much cheaper than this overpriced garbage.
>>
>>739730474
where are the trackpads and backbuttons Ill never use?

I'd be completely fine with a standard Xbox controller if the sticks wouldn't kill themselves. Fuck these lazy retards deliberately making shitty products to try and make you repeat buy the same thing over and over.
>>
>>739730603
What the fuck kind of d-pad is that?

>>739730474
Yes. I need gyro and back buttons at minimum. Trackpads are important too. Sticks that aren't designed to drift in 6 months are a nice bonus.

No, actually. Less is more.
>>
>>739730474
Yes
Your argument would work better if your controller was $15 but you're basically paying more for less than 60% of controllers out there
>>
>>739732624
I bought one from design labs and kept it in a case when not in use, and it's had no issues years later.

Turns out electronics work well when you actually care for them
>>
>>739736791
I have a sixaxis that I bought already severely used back in 2016 and it's sitting in a drawer with no protection whatsoever
Shit still works fine
Good electronics work well even when not babied
>>
>>739736859
I should've specified: the Xbox controller comes OUT of the case

Of course a sixaxis that stays in a drawer and never gets used because you have no games will also stay in decent condition :)
>>
>>739736859
>sixaxis
Why bring up a controller that isn't even with using?
>>
>>739736929
I don't know man. I used the sixaxis for 4 years straight and hammered pretty good.
I bought an xbox one controller and 6 months later I get analog drift. Mind you I don't play console shooters. If your garbage works so well, why even keep it in a case when not in use? Maybe it's because it doesn't.
>>739737003
One fucking job, Kumar...
>>
>>739730474
That dpad click wasnt part of the actual retro experience, so 8bitdo wins by default
>>
>>739731383
kys
>>
>>739737178
>Why even keep it in a case
Are you illiterate? I told you, it's design labs. Don't want any accidents to ruin something that was customized to be in nice colors, especially since I bring it to game night at the LGS

But I guess having something a little nice for a little extra and actually wanting it to stay nice is foreign to third worlders that hammer on their controllers

>>739737537
Ah I see my bad. Dust would ruin the pretty faggot colors.
>>
>>739737670
Well, personally I just picked my favorite colors, but hey, if you want to be a total queer and pick the fag flag spew as your first choice, all power to you. You've already been acting gay enough to qualify for it so far, and I assume you're prepped already, as your sixaxis is only good for shoving up your ass.
>>
>>739737328
rude
>>
>>739730603
you cant make this shit up
>>
>>739737294
x05pro has a better dpad
it's still clicky but not as loud as the xbone one. kinda like the original DS's dpad
>>
>>739730474
Yes
I want better sticks
The rest is great I don't give a fuck about gyro and the dpad is the best
>>
>>739730474
I will like 6 face buttons to be the norm again.
