I recently started playing this game, and I am admittedly very early in still but all of the reviews and articles about this game set the bar extremely high and at this point I just don't see it. The UI, the inventory, the combat, the dialogue the NARRATOR, the spell system, the story, even the character creation all just feels very underwhelming and/or clunky. I'm not trying to be contrarian, I got the game for a reason, it's just... when does this game get good? At the moment it feels like a less polished version of Wartale which is not an outstanding game by any measure.The release just really set the bar high, they were claiming it was a once in a generation type game, so when should I expect to start seeing that?
I did not care for Baldur's Gate 3.

Everything in BG3 related to UI and quality of life is atrocious, no way around it.The inventory gets constantly cluttered with a billion of trash items and you constantly need to manage it. Pickup distance is tiny which means your character constantly climbs over containers just to get items from them, wasting your time, and there's a billion of containers. Auto pickup, auto sort and auto sell mods will literally shave hours off your playthrough.It has one of the worst party management systems i've ever seen. You can only show the precise location to the leader unit while moving him. There are no formations (a feature that existed 25 years ago), no way to select multiple characters because of the dogshit chain unchain system. Not even mods can fix this. It becomes even worse if you have summons since some of them can't even jump correctly, you need to micro them or they will get stuck.In any building the camera behaves insufferably. There's no way to toggle the roof or floors, sometimes just to enter a house you need to zoom in the camera and click on the inside or the characters will either close the doors or climb to the rooftop.Seriously, what the fuck? They had like 4 years of early access to hammer it all down.
