I have yet to hear a good thing about Witcher 3 that wasn't the cinematics in side quests. I tried Witcher 1 recently and I might try it again sometime but fuck crafting, fuck you if you like crafting, kill yourself if you're a dev who puts crafting in your game. Pure time wasting garbage.
