CDPR recorded relevant dialogue and programmed the romance in, you just can't access it without a mod.

The bad: - Boring and mediocre writing and story.- Mediocre voice acting as Devs only cared about shoehorning as many celebrities as possible. - Mediocre open world with mediocre levels of interaction (IE: you can drive around it like in GTAV, but unlike GTAV you have 0 physics, 0 ramps and 0 stunts, also no flying) - Awful AI and police system. - nonexistent romantic options for a RPG especially compared to previous CDPR games. - few miniscule woke elements which don't make sense in the futuristic setting of the game (trannie post op side character with modern trannie flag on her car in a world where people can literally transcend humanity by becoming 90% cyborgs) The somewhat good:+ Incredible graphics, probably best looking PC game out there (if your pc can handle it) + Fun but somewhat imbalanced combat system (you got Matrix style slow mo, you got immortality caused by sheer rage, you got your double jumps and air dashing, jump attacks, throw attacks, superhero earthquake landings, aimbot smart weapons, magic and mana in form of hacks and RAM on your hardware). Probably best first person combat ever made but the balance is trash. Katanas and certain shotgun mods allow you to one shot everything in the game meanwhile stealth without hacking tickles elite enemies on very hard.+ Very good combat music + Very good albeit complicated modding support covers some of the most nagging issues like rack of custom radios and the garbage radio soundtrack in this game. + People trash the settings for not being Bladerunner but I still like it, it's one of the most interesting settings ever portrayed in a RPG and it sure beats generic medieval fantasy games like Dragon Age. All in all it's a fun and solid 7/10 game which means it's a 9/10 for modern gamers who most of the time get nothing but unplayable garbage. I think the combat and atmosphere carry this game hard. Everything else is mediocre.
Never rises above mediocrity. They cancelled the next expansion, the multiplayer and abandoned the engine. Solidifying it's failure.

I disagree with the other anons, I think the female voice for v is way better than male, having done both. Male isn't emotive enough and sounds like a dumb brooklynite, femv has a lot more range and really sells the little moments
