Let me guess, you can now "conveniently" rent a cloud computer with a cheap home terminal instead of needing to mess with "pesky busywork" like owning an actual computer.

inb4 developers will be incentified to make their games run on pair with nvidia's solution (to the point of having to gimp intel/amd based confugurations) otherwise they will get no driver or dlss training support.
(dlss training is made on a game by game basis individually by nvidia so if they wont train it for you, you are fucked from 90% of the market.)
we are in the first phase of moving from PC's (personal computers) to NC's (nvidia computers).
gen a might still enjoy some pc and console gaming but gen b will be 90% mobile gamers as we will lose the generational zeitgeist... it wouldnt even surprise me if nvidia just buys nintendo using jensun's lunch money.

NTA. The biggest problem we ALL have is that the US economy is propped up by this bullshit. If AI collapses it'll plunge us into a great depression. Nobody needs it. The only people that really benefit from this are people like Jensen - tech billionaires and CEOs that want to strip the human element out of their money machine. Selling consumers low end hardware and data centers high end hardware.
Selling low and high end cards has always been nvidia's business model, just now the high end cards are so in demand they don't have any reason to waste production on low end cards. But it's still in nvidia's best interest to sell cards to absolutely everyone, it's just contingent on when things stabilize.
