Do you guys wanna sit criss-cross applesauce in a circle on the floor, and talk about Banjo-Kazooie while we braid each others' hair?

The last 3 worlds are the best. Stay the fuck away from my hair.
>>739839447>The last 3 worlds are the bestNever heard anyone say this in my life. Everyone seems to say "fantastic beginning & middle, sadly the experience is ruimed by the last 2 levels & the quiz"
>>739839649Mad Monster Mansion is the best aesthetic, Rusty Bucket Bay has the best difficulty and music, and Click Clock Wood has the best gimmick because seasonal shifting is pure SOVL.
Kazooie is rather unlikable
>>739839649In recent years contrarianism kicked in and suddenly every single person's favorite levels are Rusty Bucket Bay and Grunty Industries.
>>739838506why are you talking like banjo fans are little girls?back in my day we were the chads of the playground
>>739839968>Grunty IndustriesAn absolute filter on first play but is a lot more fun to explore when you're not going in completely blind. Doesn't help that you need the train to get in and Glitter Gulch Mine is an absolute bore.
>>739839968>Grunty Industries. Not contrarian, just sort of obviously the best level in the franchise really>>739840149Nowadays I always just shoot a clockwork through the back door of the building and open it that way.
>>739838506My favorite levels in BK areMad monster mansionGobis valleyFreezeezy peakTreasure trove cove>BTJolly Roger's lagoonWitchy worldMayhem templeHailfire peaks.Honorable mentions to glitter Gulch mine.
>>739838506My hair's not long enough :( can I still play?
>>739838506>criss-cross applesauceIt's called Indian (hoiya-hoiya) style.
>>739839913She's pure sexo, thougheverbeit.
>>739839968Not me, no, I say Clanker's Cavern is my favorite level in Kazooie, Jolly Roger's Lagoon is possibly my favorite level in Tooie
>>739840642>just sort of obviously the best level in the franchiseIn what ways?>>739842423>Jolly Roger's Lagoon is possibly my favorite level in TooieI love the town portion of that level especially. Tooie is so needlessly depressing and gloomy. JRL feels more whimsical. I love Tooie but I wish they didn't decide to make the theme of the whole game "bummer."
>>739842806"Happy atmosphere" levels in BK vs BT>mumbo's mountain>treasure trove cove>bubblegloop (kinda)>freezeezy>click clock>jolly roger's lagoon (dry part only)>cloud cuckooland
>>739842806I actually do like that they contrasted the first game with the gloomy aspect in Tooie. It shows a clear transition between late 90's happy-go -lucky mascot collectathon era to 00's edge. The design choices were very deliberate in doing so, and you can hear it even in changes to the soundtrack. Jolly Roger's Lagoon is classic sauce Kazooie through and through, though. The village part feels like a tribute to everything Rare up to that point, whereas the openness and atmosphere of Atlantis feels more like Tooie. Upon replaying it, this level is where everything starts to get more interesting because the levels finally start opening up and you can start traversing through them without having to leave the world, and you can solve puzzles that were previously unsolvable. So in my opinion, this is where the game starts to really pick up.
