now that everyone's played it what's the verdict on Korean Nier Automata?
I loved Nier Automata. I got bored of it probably not even 1/3 way through. I kinda regret buying it. It's super mid and if it wasn't for the incel bait sex doll main character nobody would ever even mention it.

Nier:A with much more character customization and SB with multiple loops. Having different endings is one thing but imagine you had an entire loop 2 playing as Raven. Would have been goty. Will gladly buy a sequel when Shift Up decides to stop dumping all of their profits into external Nikke media.
SB has the better fishing mini-game, so it wins by default.

this game and Wuchang have revealed to me that I am much more willing to put up with frustrating design decisions if I'm playing as a hot girl. I would probably have bought crimson desert day 1 if you could play as a hot girl.

Instead of pausing to do all your fishing at once, you would have been periodically stopping to fish every time you stumbled on a new spot. It's a pacing issue, especially since it is so late into the game that the story feels like you are already nearing the conclusion. To then have Eve fuck around fishing for a few hours is dumb.

I'm saying no, you shouldn't have to know the game has ng+ or that you can get all the fish in a small number of ponds or if there is even any sort of postgame. Somebody who doesn't look up guides is going to see the fishing journal and try to complete it before the ending. You would stop at every fishing spot along the way between side quests and fish for 5-10 minutes at a time as a breather of sorts. This is very basic pacing that games have implemented for years at this point. If they make a sequel, they will do it my way and that will be the ultimate proof that I'm correct.

>>739844042Honestly I cant much remember of any track for Automata. As far as standouts go. I think most of the ambient tracks in Stellar blade are great. Wasteland both before and after you activate the solar tower stands out. As far as boss battles Stalker, Raven and Mann, especially Mann. One aspect of Eve i think goes mostly under the radar is how brutal she is. She ripped Ravens arm off with her bare hands and cut off the other. I think metal and high energy tracks are very suitable. Ravens soundtrack has a distinct cat fight feel to it.
