Why are there so many Samurai games on the PS2? And which ones are actually good?

>>739843093>Why are there so many Samurai games on the PS2?The industry was booming with a lot of low budget A/AA games, samurai is an easy excuse to set up action without having to properly write and set-up an action.There's no need to write a whole ass scenario about how an ordinary school boy got involved with fighting the evil villains, when they can just do "man with sword in feudal japan slashing ppl".Also it was an era where it was cool to explore mature themes.
