The skyrim modding community are not gamers period.Modding a game for hundreds of hours only to play it for 15 mins means you dont enjoy the game itself.Its no different than reading countless lore articles on the wikki only to never touch the game, once again you dont like the game, you like the idea behind it.

My modded skyrim playthrough is approaching 60 hours. I haven't finished any major questlines yet, and haven't really started any of the modded ones like vigilant or its sequels
