Why is the Switch 2 library so underwhelming? It peaked at launch with Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza and they haven't had any homeruns since then

The only S2 game I picked up is hyrule warriors. I'm just using thew thing as a "Switch Pro" replacement for my aging OG model.having a ok time

That doesn't seem so bad in a vacuum, but remember that the Switch 2 had the MKW bundle for a solid half-year from launch (plus an extra month or so of decent oversupply outside Japan). The Switch 1 didn't get an official bundle until 8 months in (and it wasn't even the bundle monster that was Mario Kart 8 DX, it was Mario Odyssey), so it's got a considerable on-paper handicap here. For it to have a lead like this over the Switch 2 anyway is... well, not DEFCON 1 tier, but certainly eyebrow-raising (hence why Nintendo just started the pick-a-game bundle for the Switch 2 and are willing to go below $70 for recent games).

I don't even use my Switch 2. It's just too big, unergonomic and heavy.I prefer playing on my Odin 3. It has a bigger library and battery life as well.
