I made a new criteria for honest weapons to determine if you truly beat the game.You ONLY beat the game if the weapon exists in real life. Yes this includes notable powerhouses like the Zweihander, Shamshir, Claymore, all that, BUT they’re honest weapons. Moonveil? Not real, not honest. Darkmoon Greatsword, Bloodhound Blade? Fuck off. Also you can’t use any ash that’s magical in nature, including but not limited to>magical projectiles>normal projectiles that summon stuff out of nowhere>weapon coating ashes>ashes that make you invisible (no more raptors!)and you get the idea. You are allowed to use basic shields but nothing retarded like the Fingerprint Shield or whatever, you know. No bonewheel shield in DS1, come on now. Come the fuck on. If you don’t abide by these rules you’re literally playing the game wrong.

But I’d definitely say Elden Ring has the most iconic greatsword, which was always overshadowed by the Zweihander in the other games except for DS2. But the Elden Ring one looks a lot better than the souls trilogy’s GS.
