The problem is that the Germans massively underestimated what they were capable of producing and the number of divisions they could mobilize. If you read Franz Halder's journal, as early as August of *1941* he's saying that the Soviets already armed and mobilized double what German war planners estimated that they could. The issue wasn't Jews backstabbing them, it was the Germans drinking their own koolaid after steamrollering France and believing the most absurdly optimistic projections imaginable for a war with the USSR.
