Replaying Morrowind on OpenMW, only ever really played the game vanilla with the exception of Sotha Sil Expanded over top of it, I wanted to know what mods you retards think are essential.
I personally want something that's close to vanilla but I wanna hear anything that's cool.
Sexy Sex Cat for emphasis

No idea how compatible any of them are with OpenMW or each other, but right now my list for shit to install is:
>Sotha Sil Expanded
>Tribunal Reforged (May take this over SSE if they're incompatible)
>Tamriel Rebuilt and Project Cyrodiil
>Beware the Sixth House (and other rebalances by the creator of that mod, plus Deadly Dagoths if compatible)
>Main Quest Enhancers
>The official bethesda mods like the Master Index
>Beautiful Cities

What I consider must-haves for a vanilla-like experience?
Any of the Magicka-based Skill Progression mods make playing a dedicated mage less shit because now your big spells will level you up faster.
Turn on enchanted items using spell animations for balance reasons.
Can't Touch This improves the game without actually changing anything mechanically by adding enemy dodge animations when you miss them.
Natural Character Growth because it's so much better to not have to think about attribute multipliers and to grow naturally. I wish one of these mods would bottle up the growths and fire them when you sleep after actually tipping over your level, though.

Holy shit LOL i wish i'd heard of this earlier, I always just spammed low-cost spells and did power-leveling which never felt very fun.
Does Natural Character Growth level you up automatically or do you still have to rest or what? It'd be nice not to think about having to fuckin track every single thing I do like before
>>
The improved AI mod is a complete gamechanger. NPCs now have all kinds of scrolls, potions and magical artifacts, which they use in combat with you. Combat before this feels like Morrowind was just a tech demo.

As far as what's essential, I recommend I Heart vanilla
https://modding-openmw.com/lists/i-heart-vanilla/

As well as Facelift and the Vanilla Body Replacer. These maintain basically the same models and textures as the base game for the characters, just increasing resolution and fixing seams and wrapping errors. So you wouldn't even notice the characters were modded at first.

By the way, I'd recommend installing I Heart Vanilla automatically (you can still install other mods on top of it manually): https://modding-openmw.com/guides/auto/

Even though it's the smallest list, installing it automatically is nicer and worth the setup to do it

Even though she's troll strong she's not any taller than average because you can't change your height in Morrowind. Or any Elder Scrolls game now that I think about it

Also thanks for the heads up, at least I know it's got proper compatibility since it's meant for OpenMW at the start. I found another mod list with a lot of different features meant to he compatible with TR thay I'll link once I can.

I hate to say it but it's almost better this way
Only men of quality should be able to have a waifu as pure as Ahnassi, she was never meant for the masses like the whores of skyrim

Do I miss anything by not power leveling?
I'm used to doing it (played Oblivion first) and already maxed endurance. I'm always adding +1 to Luck.
I read that nobody should do it because nothing levels up with you.
>>
>>739919426
Ah i see, either way thank u very much for posting everything of her, big fan of her.
>>
>>739921202
Power creep through levels and level scaling is no where near as bad in morrowind as in oblivion or skyrim, randomly generated monsters in the overworld will spawn different types depending on your level but the game is easy enough with OP gear you shouldnt need to power level, even if you fall behind you can just use a consumable or artifact weapon to do well enough.
