You cant. It's a boring game with a boring setting. There's no endgame bosses or extensive PvE to take your loot into, and they obviously wanted player vs player to be the main focus so guess what? They have ZERO control over whether people want to engage with it or not because of that.

Then I'd direct Bungie to return full-time to Destiny 2, complete Shattered Cycle, eliminate the Portal and restore all the "vaulted" content, even if it means they have to remodel all the deleted stuff from scratch. More maps, more PvE threatsFewer teams per map so you don't have to battle royale clear every map every match to be able to do quests and eventsSome kind of dedicated PvP arena mode where you get respawns and don't lose your shit every death so new people can learn the guns and skills more easily and get more than one chance to try out something shiny, maybe you keep your loadout for the whole match and only like the bottom half of teams lose their shit and the top half getting a nice key for another map or somethingMore and better cosmetics to milk whales, just make like a shitload of gun skins and minor remodels, it really can't be that hard
