Favorite episodes? https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6PNZBb6b9Ltgl6WM5rn2pjrXd_qdit2S

Keeping my answer to two videos rather than just listing off 60% of the Game Dungeon playlist, Veil of Darkness is a classic, and the Sabotain video is easily my favorite from the last couple years.

Eternam's intro goes super hard for some reason

bumping underrated bread
>>
Veil of Darkness and Carnevil are my favorite.
>>
Carnevil + Armed and Delirious are classics.
>>
>you don't like Wallace and Gromit...?
:(
>>

The one I saw first, and the one that sold Ross to me was the Test Drive 3 one. I don't know if anyone else would think it's special at all, but it was one of the first PC games I ever played and I very distinctly remember the same things Ross complained about - the insane oversteering and the "return to road" promt that pesters you every few seconds. It was a real shared experience.
>>
>>739903030
It absolutely does. There's a digital metal artist called Master Boot Record that was doing a few old game song covers that sounded great. I suggested he give Eternam's intro a go. He said he'd have to give it a listen, but that was years ago. That intro theme really does kick ass.

Spiderbot!

Personally, his Bip Bop episode is one of my all time favorites, it's just so good.
>>
>>739906362
good choice
>>
>>739907315
The saga of his dad getting the floppy disks of Bip Bop 1 and 3 to work was great.
>>
Sonic Heroes is a fun one.
Armed and Delirious is probably the best one.
>>
>>739908180
I once described RGD to one of my friends as being like a mix between a video game show and a crazed wizard showing off cursed artifacts, and that episode was partially why.
Him cutting to something else just before the skull finished loading in when he was talking about Bip Bop 1 was perfect, really makes it feel like looking at it would kill you or something.
>>
ross please...................... just release one game dungeon............................
>>
Tried Baldies because of his video and he isn't kidding that the last few levels (And that one Egyptian level) are brutal.
>>
I know it's a dream but I would LOVE to see Ross tackle a Megaten game.
>>
Ham and Swiss on rye!
(Figure it out!)
Ross couldn't figure it out
>>
I was kinda surprised he didn't do anything special for the 10th anniversary of the game dungeon when it came around a while back.

Which one? Nocturne? IV? Digital Devil Saga?
>>
>>739908428
Okay, but what does it actually mean though?
>>
>>739908450
Stop Killing Games takes most of his time lately
>>
>>739908479
Which one is the most batshit insane that he could go on a tangential rabbit hole?
>>
>>739908572
Nocturne / Digital Devil Saga more bizarre
>>
>>739908359
Freeman's Mind first. Then Game Dungeon
>>
>>739900480
My top three are Armed and Delirious, Indigo Prophecy and Culpa Innata. A special shoutout to the Deus Ex HR episode, that fashion show part that always makes me laugh.
>>
Awards time!
>Most interesting theory: Trackmania squared
>Poignant questions: Sonic Heroes
>Moon Logic Rants: Armed and Delirious.
>>
>>739909863
>Most interesting theory: Trackmania squared
indeed
>>
I like the one where he said we should be slaves to the government because Ubisoft won't let him play some shitty racing game.
>>
>>739909863
yeah the ones where his brainworms make him go deep into the paint on stuff the devs didn't think about instead of just make him misunderstand obvious shit the game is telling him are always the best, I also like the divison where he takes a typical ubislop shoot guns game and makes a pretty good argument it's about playing the badguy, while still being able to go "wow it was fun when I shoot the guns though" unlike most video essays of this kind that wouldn't talk about the gameplay at all

Messiah and Martian Gothic
>>
>>739909569
FM2 should be cancelled. It doesn't suck that bad, and good god Ross is persistent, but I'm over it, would absolutely have more Game Dungeon.
Or better yet, more RANDOM videos like the Start Trek one.
>>
>>739912972
honestly yeah, the amount of investment it takes for him to make one episode a year is a lot less than we get out of it
i think i'd be fine if it ended now, the freak out over episode 1 dropping was good enough for me to call it worth it
>>
>>739913051
The amount of time he spends on a single episode is kinda telling, HL2's world just isn't as fit for his style and process. And even if they did come out at a faster rate, HL2 just isn't as wild and crazy as 1, that "fish out of water" thing isn't as gripping when you're in some rundown Eastern European city, or riverbank, or highway, compared to massive research complex.
>>
>>739908516
I THINK it refers to the flag of Germany.
I THINK, anyway.
>>739908572
DDS, SMT I/II or Soul Hackers 1.
Maybe Strange Journey if we want to get super crazy.
>>
>>739910735
>>739909863
Is that the one about a band possibly having killed someone?
>>
>>739913454
Nah, that was the one where the game takes place in the post apocalypse with self driving cars on crazy tracks because of a billionaire having more money than sense.
>>
I'm looking forward to the followup. He might discuss the music he received from the life is strange episode, something I've been curious about
>>
bumpu
>>
I loved his video on Killing Time
>>
>>739913518
>a billionaire having more money than sense.
you could have just said billionaire
>>
To this day, I'm still not sure if Ross could tell that one breakout clone he played with the genderbent characters was fetish fuel or not.
>>
>>739915647
i genuinely think he wouldn't be aware of that kind of thing
>>
>>739915647
the fact that he made no jokes about it and the video wasn't framed as if ignoring it was a joke makes it seem like he didn't know.
>>
>>739915647
He's too pure for this world.
>>
The Deus Ex ones are funny because they turn into some Alex Jones kind of rambling though in a very sincere and kind of naive way
>>
Ah now everything is starting to make sense. More later.
>>
>>739916841
Thanks, Admiral.
>>
Do you still see them, Clarisse?
Do you still see the hamburgers?
>>
>>739916841
>there was no more later
fuck you TJ
>>
>we will never get an X-Com GD
I cry every night.
>>
>>739900480
For me, it's gotta be Baldies. I still think of this as peak Game Dungeon.
Veil of Darkness is probably second.
Puzzle Agent and Deus Ex are also classics.
>>
The "single player MMO" episodes are terrible.
>>
I wish he would remake the Boppin episode without the tagalong boring fag
