I only was able to enjoy it when I changed it to swapping styles every time I get hit. If you think the regular one is bad, 95% of the alternates are worse and the other one is about the same.

Thanks for reminding me. I'm doing a vanilla playthrough so I had temporarily forgotten that was possible.
In hindsight, I would have liked to maybe increase the cost of bone ups, but eh. Official balancing is more important to me on a first playthrough.
