And they aren't mature enough to navigate their trauma and support each other properly. I would like to see them portrayed as the whiny and inconsiderate kids they are. It would be unique for nu Claire who has only been able to show her motherly side in the remakes so far and hasnt really been paired together with somebody her own age yet.
