Protoframes are not the original versions of frames. They're separated entirely from the origin and lore of the frame they are based on. Essentialy Entrati goes galivanting through time like Dr Who and infects randoms with the Helminth strains of existing warframes and if they're compatible they turn into a hybrid Warframe/Person. This is completely different from how normal frames were made and has no bearing on the frames you make in your foundry.

Too aggressive in their cheat detection. It's a shoot first ask questions later type thing. I had a program open that would read and modify memory values open for something completely different; I was part of a team that would crack DRMs for video games. I forgot I had it open and I opened WF, then got banned a few hours later.Sure, I appealed but it completely soured my experience with the game. After getting unbanned I played for a bit then lost interest, because I know I would make the same mistake again eventually and they don't do second chances, even when I wasn't cheating on their game.
