There's a lot of cool locations to explore and a lot of fantasy versions of different cultural armors to wear. Also the creative mode which bypasses the survival crafting aspect is arguably one of the best on the genre, if only because the dlc tile sets are extremely aesthetic and allow for fantastic creations.

I played it a little on a couple online servers, but the 'official' ones had some midgame resource that was only in a handful of areas blocked off by gigaclans, so it was impossible to progress outside of going to the complete opposite end of the map to find scattered, sparse individual nodes and then hauling it back to my base, which sucked. Made a single player/offline server to figure the game out some and it was kinda cool, but I just didn't really get it. I don't understand the survival crafting multiplayer stuff, it stopped being fun by the third iteration of gear, and the couple bosses I fought were all pretty bland. The girls were hot but if I have to mod it to fuck them why do I care.

I was trying to make this city to be like this gilded rich jewel in the desert so I wanted fancy streets. I used a different set for the flooring on all of the interiors which were fully furnished and set up as somewhat realistic homes or businesses as well, that was part of the project. I even got most of the important buildings staffed full of thrall NPCs too before I got burned out. The tavern which I don't have any screenshots of sadly is packed full of characters, the theater has performers on stage, the palace has a whole royal congregation with a scantily clad big titty queen, shit is actually really cool. Picked it back up with enhanced. Put a good 100 hours in a vanilla save and am now almost 200 into a modded one. Man I miss some of the legacy mods but I hope we see some new ones come out.
