I did after i saw the last thread, so far the dialogue is meh and the MC seems to be an empty shell for me to larp as i guess, also i feel like the "emotions" or stats or whatever are weird, some of them don't even make sense and some of them + the dialogue feels like it's trying to recapture harry and disco elysium's feel but they fall flat and feel out of place. I played a fantasy DElike but I didn't enjoy it at all, felt way too derivative.

The skills aren't meant to be emotions and are way more tied to actual espionage SKILLS of Hersch than whatever the fuck it was in DE. It's the opposite of trying to recapture Harry's mental stats which were pretty often just saying shit the writers thought would be funny in the situation but sometimes made zero sense in terms of RPG skill use (and often that was the joke).

I saw some gameplay of zero parades and I was really dissapointed they didn't adapt the main gimmick of disco elysium. Also the art direction is much less inspired, and the mc looks like a (cool) guy instead of a girl.
Pic rel is what I wanted/expected from zero parade. You could have npcs have 2 different set of portraits, one that's neutral and the other one that reveals their politics and inner thinking. You could replace the sanity bar with "negative traits" that grow the more your stat spread is lopsided. But Oh well.

Surprisingly a really great game. The plot, lore, and mysteries were woven together really nicely. It felt like they planned the story and progression a lot better than DE.

The art doesn’t really match DE, and the narrator is so bad i had to turn it off(just character voices). Combined with the slow start and uninteresting early characters, it almost made me drop the game. I’m glad I didn’t.

The health system is a lot more fun than the disco one, though I think it created some problems in check difficulty because of the 'exert' ability. As for the decision-making sections, I just wish there were more of them and they were more complex.

The clothing system feels stuck between wanting to be disco and wanting to be a disguise system, and we end up with nonsensical for the story system of wearing random clothes and disguises which are horribly underutilised throughout the entire game.

This is one of the biggest things missing from Parades that made DE great. The skills barely have any personality if at all. I miss DRAMA, VOLITION and HALF-LIGHT like you wouldn't believe.

I think the world building is cool and on par with DE's, despite the fact it was made in a jiffy rather than built up over a decade like DE's
The story with Cascade and her former team getting back together after a mission they fucked up is really cool
For that matter, the build up to the final mission and the final mission itself are phenomenal. I think the game really sticks the landing in a way that DE doesn't even come close to, in my opinion. Just insanely satisfying stuff. I'm probably overhyping it a bit, cause I went in with low expectations so now people will expect 10/10, but it really hit the spot for me.

Lots of people here love Dr Gonza, but I think he's reddit as fuck. Bagman and the EMTR guys in the city are also reddit as fuck but I don't think I've ever seen anyone say good things about them, so we're in agreement there.

As for characters I really liked, you got The Man With No Heart, Holocene and Karolina as the main ones. I don't want to spoil anything about them, but yeah, I really liked them.

I am also somewhat positive on Tempo (Black guy gangster but the British smartass style, former partner), Septimus (Son of a dictator, creep with a heart of gold), Ramses (Hacker type man, kind of a weed lmao kind of dude but genuinely chill and not too obnoxious) and Etsel (Very competent spy that is sick of your shit and doesn't want to get dragged back into another of your suicide missions) but not enough that I fell head over heels for them like the three characters I mentioned above.

There is nothing. I can ask him about the clinic or buying sleeping pills. I did the checks about him being a dog killer. I failed the convincing check but broke into the boat and took the dummy. There is no "quest chain" about finding Karolina. The game simply doesn't consider it a task.

And by "too late" I mean that I'm sure that if I had identified this as a bug way early, I probably could've loaded and done the conversations about assembling the crew again, but I won't since I've played already too much since for it to be worth it.
