Who will play Ernst Blofield in the sequel?
/ourgirl/ will be back. I am sure of it.
>>740066575Get David Bateson to do it.
Choose your Bond girl
>>740066915Cressida>Theresa>Moneypenny>the rest
Why does he have an American accent?
>>740067049They should have just dubbed over his ass, complete snooze fest when he's talking. Just literally sounds like listening to Lenny Kravitz talking about some bullshit during a concertGreat look, could be a Farcry villain but he needed to sound like a dangerous pirate king, not a faggy California queen
>>740066949For me it's Moneypenny > Theresa > Cress but they're extremely close and I'm openly biased towards Monkeypenny and the big booty scientistCressida is so wonderful though and she would easily be one of the best new girls in games if she was the SPECTRE spy instead of being the tutorial helper. A mod to swap her character model can't come fast enough
>>740066915It's funny they tried so hard to fix them for the release and they're still so ugly.
>It's funny they tried so hard to fix them for the release and they're still so ugly.
>ugly DEI monstrosity according to chuds
>>740066803I would understand them not doing this but it's just too easy and too kino for it to not be on their mind at least a little bit. It's not like they'd make him look exactly like 47 or anything, but a scarred and bloated 47 in a Mao suit would look absolutely perfect
>>740067683Everyone knows /v/irgins can not do not and will not have sex and therefore cannot ever be taken seriously on the matter of "attractive women"
>>740067049Well, Lenny Kravitz isn't exactly a great actor. Total miscast. They should have gone with a real African actor instead. Also he looks great but barely does anything. The promotional material made it seem like he was gonna be the game's big villain.
wtf i thought this game was woke pajeet dei shit and zoomer bondwhy are anons playing it? nu hitman was shit
>>740068063Go the fuck away with your buzzword spamAction espionage thrillers deserve a better class of poster, we don't want you
I want the sequel to be like this.
I love the stealth and the social stuff but I just can't get in to the gun play. The ammo is just too limited for my liking
>>740068140just press E
>>740068140You're supposed to throw that gun and keep moving. Vault attack to grab the next guys gun, charge attack to grab the next gun, etc etc. Stop camping
>>740066803>>740067685a blofeld that can fight would be pretty cool
>>740068140here
Why are all the villains so forgettable?
>>740066575>sequel
>>740068343I thought Damian 'Goldmask' Webb and his father were both really good. Memorable and well concepted, I enjoyed the story about military industrial complex technocrat AI shenanigans, all the Bond-ism that came with it, and the way that Webb was the anti-thesis to Bond. His whole "great Men don't really exist" leftist doomer cope is a solid and simple contemporary villain for a young 007 to face off with and make his mark
>>740068529Yeah, decent numbers for PC, game is massive on Moviestation 5.
>>740068583Eh, daddy Webb had some decent motivations, but he wasn't that threatening of a villain.Damien is just a lunatic. He's entertaining to watch though and his actor is having a time of his life.
>>740066575A trans black woman because Amazon own the IP and will not want to share royalties with associated media
>>740068720In Steam global sale charts, First Light is 4th, after PoE2 (which is now on a massive sale), Forza (which is Forza) and CS (that is free and is always on top). Fir a 70$ game, that's a good result.
wtf moneypenny is adorablewasn't she ugly in the first trailer?
>>740068529>beat Pragmata while fighting an uphill battle against Amazon and endless "woke" shitposting>Pragmata had an absolutely massive PR boost because of cunny meme007 won.>>740068745I think the real problem is that the boss encounters with Damian stunk. It's all aura and then when it's time to fight him it's just not great. They should have done another Monroe fight but with a huge health bar, really test the players capability to withstand a long fight over the course of multiple areas. Hacking stuff is fine, but I wanted more of that feeling of movement. Should have been more bashing through walls and windows.Man, that Monroe fight was just really well directed
>>740068972I think it was her key render that made people think she would be uglified (very small picture, not final graphics)Instead, she was totally beautified. She's objectively gorgeous, especially compared to the somewhat frumpy actress that is playing her
>>740067049Because Lenny Kravitz isn't a good enough actor to pull off an accent but they decided they needed his star power anyway. He was definitely a miscast. He can pull off a normal role in a normal movie, he was not cut out to play a flamboyant and violent African warlord.
I'm a little bit salty there was no Felix. Would have been cool to have Bond encounter a similarly young and green Felix in the field.
Why is stealth in this game a complete downgrade from Hitman: WoA? I guess the shooting is better, but I don’t think it’s fair to sacrifice what we had in IOI’s most popular title.
>>740069653007 isn't Hitman
>>740069653Bond generally isn't about stealth.
>>740069157>especially compared to the somewhat frumpy actress that is playing herThat's the case with a lot of characters here. Only a handful of them are facescanned (Bond, Isola, M, Greenway, Lenny Kravitz and Gemma Chen for some reason). The rest of the faces are made from scratch. Yeah, Cressida's and Theresa's VA's don't look anything like them.
>>740070007>MNo way man, they beautified her too for sure.
Chapter 7 was quite shit. Full of scripted bullshit. IOI making a linear story game was a mistake.
>>740070186Yeah, it was a slow burn one. But I guess it serves as breather level and a Bond/Greenway bonding excercise before everything goes to shit. But I wish it was a bit harder.
>>740069959first mission stresses the importance of stealthyou get commended and complete challenges if you do things stealthilyit seems immersion breaking to shoot up an entire room, leave said room, and no one in the next room seems to be aware that all their allies have been massacred.
>>740070337The AI doesn't care if you beat up their friends in the next room, that's by design. But if you actually start shooting up the place (which is harder then it sounds, because you first need to provoke the enemies to open fire on you to get that license to kill) the entire map will know where you are and will actively start looking for you.
/v/ autists really should stay away from overtly masculine media like 007, it's too toxic
Vietnam was the most James Bond-y segment ever put into a James Bond game and it felt like it was ripped straight from one of Connery's films.
>tfw swapping the music in the yoga cave from a relaxing hippie shit to a loud UNTSS UNTSS techno music serves no gameplay purpose. James just wants to be a asshole.
>>740070736cheeky git
>>740070778Overall I really like Gibson's Bond but I still think he looks like a fuckin dork.
>>740070186Yeah it drags a lot hauling Greenway through all those doors with the roombas. Total chore. But I did still like the atmosphere of that awesome office building and it does serve a purpose for the storyI thought the entire stretch of the game back in London was fantastic though and that's when things really started coming together. You've been through setpieces around the world and escaped death multiple times chasing the mystery and now you're firmly in the role of agent when the villain sends people to your apartment kill youBond is off going on his own assignment to find out the truth, you've got Moneypenny helping you on the comms blowing off her date, the iconic look for this game with the tactleneck and leather jacket, there is a fantastic pace, you get that interrogation scene, and it all just flows from one scene and area into the next with full continuity. It was glorious IMO

>>740071442I have a feeling this series isn't going to continue. It's selling well enough for a AA game but this game had a fuckhuge budget and it's going to take a lot more sales than it is getting to justify itself. Shame, I would gladly accept this series as the new Bond for me instead of whatever inevitable bullshit they have in the pipeline for the new film series.
>>740071714200 mln dollars isn't that fuckhuge. It's a standard. It's less than TLOU and Cyberpunk. Also, I have a feeling a lot of the cost can be covered by all those sponsorship deals, because holy fuck, there is so much product placement in that game.

>>740074495He's voiced by Alistair Mackenzie but they don't use his face.Overall he's fine, but I couldn't help but feel like he and Bond were sorely missing their usual banter. >>740081196To be fair, Bond is the reason why her date went tits up in the first place. The fact that you can actually listen in on some random security guard consoling the guy crying how awful his date with Moneypenny is coming along is peak comedy.
Moneypenny >>>>>>>> Invisigal
>>740066915Bond confirmed plapping at least 3 of the 5 girlies btw.
>>740078820>Fortnite Character Select
>>740082446I would give it an 8 or 9. Sure, you can see the scripts and handholding under the hood if you REALLY want to look for them, but the game is really good at masking that, because it's paced really well.
>>740082653He did not dirty himself with the night club slag
>>740082524>Moneypenny dream sex scene with Bond like in Die Another DayBOOK IT

>>740082651Blazer>Crassida>Moneypenny>>>>>>Invisigal.
>>740082725I forgot about that sceneBrosnan-era MILF Moneypenny was so down bad
>sequelThis game might actually tank IOI kek.
>>740082717her number's in his locker.
>>740082804Holy fucking based.
>>740082653he needs to plap M and reawaken her last unused ovum.
>>740082717Please. How you see how many phone numbers to random girls were there on the mirror in his apartament?
>>740080959Women are so cute in big running shoes.
i think 007 is a pretty cool guy. eh cucks nerd girls and doesnt afraid of anytning.
>>740082874I can't be the only one who would, right?RIGHT???
One of his aliases should have been John England
I'm just gonna say itIf First Light were a movie, then I would have enjoyed it far more than I enjoyed most of Craig's run as the character
he's just sean bean with long hair.
>>740083061>Bond? This is Moneypenny. I have an off the books mission for you.>It's M. She owns at least 3 cats. You need to get in there and get her pregnant before menopause destroys our last hope. For England, James.
>>740083624She'd make him keep the audio on while he's doing it too
>>740083501I'd say Casino Royale and Skyfall are both still a lot better but there are elements of this game that I like even more than either of those movies, obviously the interactive element helps a lot tooIt's much better than anything since Skyfall
>>740083061power is an aphrodisiac
>>740068720>5 figures>decentMaybe for a brand new indie studio.
>>740084226and Pragmata?
>>740083061>scatplay>>740083534He is literally me.
>>740084312Isn't a recognizable IP. For a 007 game this is badly underperforming.
>>7400846201000 times more conversations surrounding Pragmata, yet it has the same players as 007Curious that you defend Pragmata but attack 007. Nothing being revealed there eh?
I know it was just a dumb easter egg but the JAWS prototype in the Antarctica lab is making me way too hopeful for a new version of the character. He'll always be the best Bond henchman to me.
>>740082182Yes unless you get the spawn bug
>>740085068Is that the bug where the game will randomly kick you back to the start of the chapter when you reload checkpoint? That happened to me twice and it was infuriating.
>>740084226>>740084620Pragmata sold 1m in 2 days.007 sold 1.5m in 1 day.PlaystationCHADS are supporting the moviegame, not the pedo chud bait game.
>>740084709You're the one bringing up the literal who game, I barely know what it is. I am only shitting on Last Light.
>>740085171No, it's a bug where randomly NPCs will just refuse to spawn. Tons of people stuck at sections like the getting out of car at the hotel in Slovakia because half the NPCs are missing, including the valet that lets Criss and Monroe out. Or in knightfall when getting to the finsl escape only one wave of mercs spawned so the rest of the combat section was just walking. Or in going old school when moneypenny is about to open the door in null, but she doesn't and just stands there
>>740084709How many of those conversations were just arguing over retarded shit though?
>>740066803>Hitman but lazy fag with a scar and a cat also blood related to zoomer bond
>>740082653>not moneypennyWhat is wrong with him?
>>740083534sean bean with a power armor with windows 11 so its hacked by a smartwatch and cant win even with drugs
>>740085868Anon, she's so nice, he doesn't want to ruin their friendship!
>>740084620>For a 007 game this is badly underperforming.this dumb argument again. it's not applicable here just like it wasn't applicable with indiana jones. both essentially are new IPs for all intents and purposes when it comes to modern gaming audiences. in 007's case franchise precedent was probably more of a detriment, considering how badly 007 legends bombed.
>>740084793it will be temu mrX also bald
>>740082182if you bother play as bullseye and throwing guys into shit in the fistfights yes it can be fun
>>740085868Bond does NOT fuck Moneypenny, ever. They are meant to be in a neverending cycle of him repeatedly praising her and shooting his shot, her playfully shooting him down, and then her being mildly jealous as he fucks any number of stunning exotic women. That is how those two work.
>>740085868It's called 007, anon. Don't tell me you've never watched a film before?
>>740066575>Who will play Ernst Blofield in the sequel?the creator of project nortubel
>>740086610They do have a good dynamic in FL honestly. I bet if this does become a series, that there will be some sort of gag eventually where he happens to encounter a dude who was an asshole to her on a date and he fucks with the guy somehow.
>>740076267that's part of her training. she fucked all of the trainees.
so none of my choices or actions actually matter at all, do they?
>>740087526It's 007What is wrong with you people
>>740066575
>>740087564you're right, I'm so, so sorry, I really shouldn't want choosing different dialog choices to have different outcomes. I'll go back to fallout 4, since that had more consequence.
>>740068140This isn't fucking Uncharted, like the other anons said you have to play aggressively, gun down some dudes, use the opening to push forward, chuck your gun and grab a new one, and use your gadgets and environmental stuff to soften up the enemy formations, or even use hand-to-hand if you have the breathing room.
>740087680
>>740087564Alpha protocol, but with gameplay?A 007 VIDEO GAME that I play, not a shitty uncharted asylum with a zoomer in a tuxedoI've already seen the movies
>>740087680KEEEEK BASEDShan't be buying wokeslop!
They should make him like his novel version, gigantic six and a half foot tall dude that's got a size and weight advantage over Bond on top of being a criminal mastermind. It's a shame Dave Bautista already did a henchman in Spectre cause he's got the physique for it and he's even part Greek like Blofeld.Plus the whole small and wiry old guy Blofeld thing is played out.
>approaches objective>"NOW, let's see what all the fuss is about!"Why do AAA game companies do this.....
>>740088236Focus, Bond!>I need to confront webb...
>KEEEEK BASED>Shan't be buying wokeslop!
>>740072910>AIjeet shitstain thinks anyone cares about its copypasted opinion
Has the game flopped yet?
>>740087680What's LGBT about Bond? No, not brown. No, not asian. You said LGBT. Explain.
>>740090809Fuck off, I'm shitposting.
>>740088113Anon it's bond they can reuse actors. Thing is, Bautista is no longer big. Which I guess doesn't matter for games since you can make his body whatever you want or stitch different actors for body and face
>>740090809Minority (white br*tish)
>>740087242Even Cressida?
>>740091001Especially Cressida.
>>740091153Very good, ma'am.
I am hoping for a romance arc between Bond and Valhalla. They had good chemistry.
>>740080257The AI plot imo was more of a vehicle for The Great Man debate. Webb constantly talks about not needing Great men or even argues in some of the side notes they don’t exist. Bond’s mere existence proves that wrong and he seethes over that. Essentially the nerd is seething over Chad existing
>>740085981But why else make it 007? Clearly that's the point. Everyone kept commenting how the new Hitman games felt more like James Bond and IOI ran with it. If they weren't hoping to cash in on brand recognition, why burn cash getting it licensed?
Why is the tacsim still locked after i beat the game?
>>740066575A black female like every other character in this game apparently.
>>740067198>>740067961>>740069261Wait a second, the villain is black? But you guys told me this game was woke.
>A well-placed Mole on the face can turn a 6 to a 10.How?
>>740095142Have you talked to Genna Chen?
>>740080802>>740080939Goldeneye was my first Bond film as a kid and gave me a completely wrong impression of what kind of girls he hooks up with.
>>740086790Haha wouldn't it be funny if James asked her out on a date and got her pregnant as a joke? haha
STROKING
a fucking gif lmao
>>740066915Really a shame that they're building up Isola to be the main bond girl of the series when there were so much better options.I liked Cressida a lot but she just vanished into thin air after getting injured. Didn't even get an appearance again.Theresa was also ridiculously hot but she was just a side piece for one mission.I guess Isola is fine though.
I’m not racist since I’d happily impregnate Isola or Theresa given a chance to, but why did they feel the need to make M Indian in a story where she’s incredibly reliant on AI to do her job
having Hitman health in this is a little goofy, you’re gonna tell me Bond just immediately dies from getting heem’d?
>>740095883Hes not the main villain, he's a gray area villain during one part of the game who is on sort of friendly terms with Bond by the end of the chapter.
>>740099554I'll be going down with the Bondypenny ship no matter how hopeless it gets.
>>740104727Bondpenny is endgame but only in the sense that it's never happening because Bond would have to end for it to happen. But to me it just makes sense. After a lifetime of banging broads and never seeing them again, Moneypenny is the woman he marries. It's right when he retires
>>740105594He marries Tracy actually
>>740104524Who's the main villain? That guy with the mask who got posted earlier?
>>740106786Sort of. He fills more the main henchman role I think but I guess he is also sort of a main bad guy.
>>740106023That doesn't really last...
>>740106023and how is that going for him?
>>740104727This is honestly the first time I've ever found myself hoping Bond gets with Moneypenny. She might be my favorite version of the character. It would be a massive death marker if it happened anytime before the very end of the whole series though.
>>740107683It’s a long shot
I liked this game, are the James Bond movies actually legitimately good and worth watching? For some reason I only ever saw Casino Royale (which was good) and some other Daniel Craig movie I can't remember the name of which was shit, and put me off watching any more.Or are the books worth reading, even?
>>740108987In general, each Bond actor has some good ones and bad onesConnery's best are his first 3Moore's best are Spy Who Loved Me and View to a KillBoth of Dalton's are good IMOBrosnan's good ones are Goldeneye and World is Not EnoughLazenby was only in one and I think People generally like it but I've never watched it.Casino Royale is the only good Craig one imo. Skyfall is well liked but I thought it was overrated.
>>740110907The one Lazenby movie was really close to the books and actually had him get married so it was ahead of it's time for what it was
I like when you can pick out a Hitman™ NPC voice like the dude who almost gets himself killed trying to go to Theresa's suite
Feels like we're so clone to an incredible Bond game. A little more focus on the social stealth aspects of infiltration and it would've been golden.I do also miss out on why we never get to really drive the Bond car of the game, outside of that one specific instance right near the end.The combat was painful until I figured out it was demanding aggression over anything else, throwing your gun to pick up another one is actually pretty cool.I can't complain about the gadgets either but the laser strap seemed king of them all because of the lock breaking aspect to it.Hopes for a sequel? Other games that manage the spy fantasy nearly as well?I do wish that there were more boss fights I guess. The ones we have are kinda weak.
>>740108987Bond movies pre-Craig are very simple, they're mostly the same movie and they're mostly about the vibes. They're not particularly excellent or aiming to be (they usually shoot for the middle. They were like the Marvel movies of their time), but they're a lot of fun and about the best fantasy ever. They're perfect for days when you just want to throw something on and watch a breezy, light, fun thing.Don't start with Dr No unless you're ok with a really slow 60s movie. Start with From Russia With love, still one of his best and a perfect distillation of the core stuff the franchise is about (they're cheeky comedy playboy adventures). Goldfinger and Thunderball build up the formula, and by the time you see You Only Live Twice you'll be familiar with it.If you like the gritty aspects of Casino Royale, watch OHMSS. Just an incredible movie. If you want to check out Moore (and if you liked YOLT), see The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker for the cheesier side of the character. Moore stays in the role forever so I don't recommend marathoning it, you'll get really tired of the guy. For Your Eyes Only is another one of his I really like.Dalton is not a good starting point, but both of his are solid. If you want to check out more "modern" stuff, Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Die are Brosnan's best.At the end of the day, they're fun spy movies about a fun fantasy. They're very light on lore so you can just pick whichever you fancy.
>>740114770>doesn't like Die Another Day or The World Is Not Enough
>>740113912The Twins boss fights were good, but I feel the others relied too heavily on “use the environment to hurt them because they’re immune to all other types of damage.
>>740066575Debra Wilson. You know it's happening.
>>740117609not a brit
>>740117140DAD is a disaster that has fun parts (and arguably the hottest Brosnan Girl).TWINE is just not for me, but it's good whenever the Bond girl is onscreen, otherwise it just gets kinda boring desu.
>>740117685Neither was Shroud but that didn't stop them.
>>740117795He's not trying to be British he's literally just some dude watching fights in Kravitzland
>>740117412I really don't like how the final fight with the twins went, or how little fanfare the surviving twin gets in your proper rematch with him.Outside of the gimmick encounters you get because stealth games can't have you just whoop their asses, the bosses here weren't great.
Personally, I feel if they’re going to do a sequel, they should make it a tiny bit more open ended. They don’t need to go full Hitman scale, but just more ways to do things other than just having 2 approaches. Also, does anyone else feel the final mission feels a bit phoned in? Damien comes back with no explanation and his boss fight feels rushed. Removing the limits on the watch so you could defend Q’s Lab was fun though.
>>740117989The thing is that they have both the Metal Gear and Tenchu franchises as examples of how to do boss fights in a stealth game. The basement fight against the twins felt good because it was a fight in that kind of vein. But then every boss after was gimmicky in some way except the final twin fight, which was anti-climactic because the doesn’t even get a special death cutscene like the first twin.
>>740117948I'm saying it doesn't matter and if they want Blofield pozzed, he will be. Or rather, she'll be ;)
>>740118389Exactly, bosses here didn't feel great. They lacked a special something.
>>740099554I'm pretty sure Cressida and that Scottish guy who went MIA will turn up in DLC or the sequel.
>>740071137>leather jacketIt's a waxed cotton barbour jacket.
>>740118875I think what baffled me is that they used the gadget gimmick fight for a boss 3 times. Personally, I think all the fights should have been fist fights mixed in with some shootouts. I found the final boss particularly disappointing, since the first phase is a gadget gimmick and then the second phase is basically just a platforming section where you have to dodge a turret.
>>740119865The first part of the second boss got me all excited for a brawl so when it ended up being a case of "flash him" I couldn't express my disappointment enough. There were missed opportunities here just need to be addressed.
>>740079000It's a good film but Connery himself is kinda phoning it in.
>>740110907Craig's best bond movie is Layer Cake.
Rate the levels. IMO:Slovakia > Vietnam > Nightclub > Antarctica > Apartment + Museum > Webb HQ/Knightfall > Aleph > Malta > MI6 HQ (final mission) > Iceland
she will be back
>>740122967As a liaison in the government maybe, her dad didn't even want her at MI6 at all and her almost dying literally the first time she went out on a mission probably didn't help.
>>740122967She should have been the lead girl.
I hated the gadgets, most could be replaced with throwable coins and a silenced pistol. They should let you use your weapons even if they don't let you shoot at civilians.
>>740123225*clink*
>>740123302*commits entire body to looking where the coin landed instead of where it came from*Huh
>>740123225They should just make silenced weapons realistic (still very loud unless you are pressing the gun against them)forcing you to larp batman outside of very specifc setpieces was very gimmicky.
I'm convinced a lot of people on this board are simply not attracted to women
I think the Bond wiki is racist, they have a picture of Theresa on Isola's page
>>740066915This is good for 2026, but Boomers were given fat chested women in skintight catsuits every week of the day.
Are they gonna keep updating Hitman™ or is it basically EoS now that 007 is out?
Why is MI6 okay with one of their agents just fucking off after a failed mission?
