The main FF team is doing the remakes, 16 is a numbered title but it got the leftovers instead of the main team.
The problem with FF games that they always try to innovate at gameplay and fail. And developing gameplay is one thing that takes a long time to iron out. They need to stick to the same shit like Persona or Resident Evil. Something that works.FF16 feels like they just ran out of money and said fuck it and just made one character you control in a shitty cooldown based DMC clone. No party members having an adventure together.
