Awakaening > 2 > Origins >>> Veilguard >>> InquisitionMy copy of Inquisition was fucking cursed and reinstalling, starting over, and mods didn't fix my unique bug. Basically everything either had 1000x hp or All of the dmg done was only 0.1% in value. Genuinely pissed me off and I even forced my friends to witness it as proof and showed them my game settings and everything. It utterly ruined the experience for me and I YouTubed the DLCs instead of bothering to play them. Plus narratively I found it pretty poor of a representation of everything boiling over between the mages and templars. Plus it was that game that basically killed being a healslut which i'll never forgive them because I exclusively play healer with my MC in crpgs. Veilguard I will not try to defend narratively, but gameplay wise I actually found it pretty good. Sure it isn't something you'd want in a DA game, neither was Inquisition. I played as the dagger wizard and had fun but for all I know that's the only fun class to play (not like I'm going to play through it again even if I did love the Tevinter map).

On top of that, the darkspawn corruption shit had gotten so bad at a later point that its implied a TON of people will just starve to death even if/when peace returns. So its not as though the casts/protags of previous games are specifically dead, but they 100% wrote southern Thedas in general as being so fucked up that none of them will be free to travel up north any time soon even if they survived.
