From my perspective it feels like assault rifles and smg are a bit underperforming compared to other options. In terms of power and fun using it. The only exception is Erebus.

Blades are fun, quick dynamic and it feels cool to cut shit on sandevistan. And you have cool finishers.

Blunt weapons are fun, you just feel you hit hard, you have cool finishers and you can throw one motherfucker at another motherfucker.

Sniper guns give you a bit of that skyrim stealth archer vibe by shooting motherfuckers from far.

Netrunner builds in lategame give you cybernetic unstoppable god feeling.

Pistols and thrown weapons are going great with stealth builds.

The ending where you get "cured" by the the government is such bullshit. I understand what they wanted to do with it, but the problem is that it ignores some key details
