Playstation movie games are for people with no inner voice/spark>is that a cube that just..talked?>I'm doing this now, I guess>you think I'm gonna...oh no....>So this is me now. I'm here...These quotes and the character talking appeal to them because they are purely instinctive driven humans. They enjoy them because they simulate having an inner voice, which they lack. The way the game basically "plays itself" is also extremely powerful and enjoyable to them. Feeling power and understanding, but never having experienced them in real life must be a good feeling for a purely instinctively driven subhuman.I find this fascinating. They really cornered the retard market.
>>740184248Adding to this, the games also appeal to many submissive "beta" humans because they don't have to form their own opinions. They can "go with what the authority (the game) tells them to think".This is why you see a lot of the "woke" crowd enjoying these games (despite not buying them, just watching them online). It tells them what to think and how to think. Otherwise they won't know what is the "right" opinion.
>>740184396Good thing "Alphas" taught you to say that, huh?
>>740184475It is incredible how much discourse from you creatures can be summed up as "I will pretend to not understand what you are saying".Are you even capable of interacting with edgy material or takes?
>>740184248I suppose every movie with a monologue is too? You going to say blade runner is for NPCs next?
>>740184248The cover for this game looks exactly like the botw cover to the point where it feels like pplagiarism
>>740184580At no point does Blade Runner monologue do:>did that replicant just run? I guess we're chasing now>tears in the rain? wow what a speech>I can't believe I'm in a flying car. Wow!I'm not sure why I am wasting time explaining this to you.
STOP SPAMMING THIS KEK GAMEEEEEEEEEEE
>>740184248games with actor faces shoved in is unadultered slop for midwit normalfag coworkers whose main pastime is netflix
>>740184862so it's specific to what they say then?
>>740184248I don't know how people didn't realise this with "radio girl" in games. It's a flat out replacement for inner dialogue from the player. More and more things are doing this too, I'm surprised the trailer didn't have a chibified kratos growling in the corner and emoting about how she was such a tough woman and in some ways....a better man than I These snoy games are for the most braindead consoomer imaginable
>>740184248My inner voice called you a faggot/troon/bitch/homo/subhuman
>mass market blockbusters are designed for the lowest common denominatorwoah...
>>740184574It's all they have
>>740185461Imagine the airboat section in half life 2 when the chopper arrives you can make your own assumption of whats happening and what to do without the game telling you. If it was a woke modern game it would be Gordon freeman shouting "Oh shit! A helicopter?! I should zig-zag to avoid its machine gun!"
>>740185461Obviously. A norml person can tell the difference
chuds just babble shit and pretend being a loner autist is better than being normalWhy are miserable people like this?
>>740184862>I'm artificial? That's terror.
>>740186326huh?
I guess this is just what a large chunk of the modern casual gaming audience enjoys. I've noticed a lot of people today who "play games", are really bad at video games. And I mean most can barely handle something like an NES/SNES Mario game without struggling more than some kids did decades ago. Movie games like this (and probably modern films as well) make money because it's easy and they can consume the product without much effort required. Modern writers and producers can inject their ideas of story telling, dialogue, humor and way of thinking. Which likely plays well for that audience that wants something simplistic and that does the work for them. This includes mental obstacles like figuring out game objectives and tasks, gathering and understanding story context through visual story telling and lived gameplay experience (actually using the medium), or reading emotions through expression or other cues. It's much easier for that audience to be told how and when to play and feel so they'll have an easier time eating it all up then move onto the next product.
>>740186662A large chunk, for sure, but not enough to justify these insane budgets. Most of these games do not make their money back, and those that do BARELY do.At least these days.Last of Us and older God of War games must have sold mountains.
>>740186461KekExactly.Imagine seeing that iconic scene and you have to hear him talk about it.
