Be honest with me, how much am I going to hate this?

Also, what would be a good shitter/meta build for someone who hasn't played an MMO since original retail of Wrath of the Lich King?
>>
it's okay, very bland for the most part but i like the TES world so i still put a lot of hours into it

wait until monday when challenge difficulty comes out, the game is mind numbingly easy right now but hopefully those will make exploring and doing quests a bit more interesting

as for builds, basically irrelevant unless you're doing endgame high level stuff (though challenge difficulty may change that)

it stopped being good around 2020 or so
now it only gets more and more worse while devs are shooting random ideas that might save the game (it won't)
they should just kill it off and make eso 2, but I'm sure devs aren't even aware of what's wrong with it

Don't even bother man. Seriously.

I dig. I did my diligence beforehand so as someone who has never touched the game, I do have an understanding that "Update 50" is some sort of a big deal.

Is PvP even viable for a game this old? I am really only playing it because I never played it before, and I am extremely familiar with playing Elder Scrolls game and knowledgeable about non-ESO related lore and stuff.

I haven't played it in about 2 years but PVP was active back then, I actually enjoyed the cyrodiil PVP, even though it had some bad design/balancing issues, defending fortresses and sieging them were actually enjoyable especially considering how boring the rest of the game's gameplay was.

PVP activity will obviously depend on your region though

i put in 500 hours and its pretty fun if you go into it as a shittier version of skyrim with mmo elements
all quests are voiced and the world is fun to explore

its an mmo with level scaling
