I used to be obsessed with this game in middle school. There was another castle defending game I played years later that was more advanced. It centered around shooting the attackers and hiring gunmen, though there are a lot of flash games like that, but this game looked like SNES JRPG looking sprites, and some pretty in-depth RPG mechanics. I never got to finish it and now I can't find it.

Do you think Roblox is filling the niche for free amateur games for kids?
I honestly think flash games were an important cultural factor for kids and teens. They introduced them to something that was both unconventional and underground, yet entertaining and fun at the same time. Usually, underground things always carry a subversive and rebellious tone, but flash games didn't, most were just pure, unpretentious fun made by young people who just wanted to have a good time.
I hope Roblox is like that today. Kids need something like that to escape the mainstream garbage that corporations shove down their throats.

Chaos Faction will always be my favorite. It was so much fun to mess around in and had amazing music too.

People used to make free flash games with copyrighted characters that you could play on your web browser any time you like. Why is technology somehow getting worse now where to play a game with flash quality you need to spend $10.99 on the Playstation store for some shit indie game that sucks and it's just an asset flip lol.
