A rare case where a demo made me not want to get a game. the atrocious pacing on the start + the constant dialogue and busy enviroments are atrocious for a 2d zelda clone. Even that recent one where you play as Zelda understood it more.seriously have these Octopath devs made any good games? Both OT games are just "we have final fantasy at home"

That alone gives me absolutely no hope whatsoever that it'll ever stop holding your hand. The 'reduced' dialogue option in the new demo ONLY reduces the voice lines during combat, you still get told what to do and where to go in every other situation. It's a game for braindead idiots.

I didn't mind the constant yapping because I play a lot of games that have tons of it. Maybe there will be a decent game buried underneath some shitty story, I hated Triangle Strategy's demo too but it was a good game in the end.
