I think this remake looks fantastic. I like the explorable hub level and the goal to make it feel like you're more on an adventure. I also think the graphics are beautiful (and superior to the original)
>>740212347I disagree because fanservice was never what got me into Rayman (including Origins/Legends) and aside from the eye candy factor, none of the female characters are interesting or important enough for my buying decision to center around them.What really makes the decision to buy this game a challenge is that on one hand, the added story elements, levels, costumes, and those images of the map that includes locations from the OG trilogy have me intrigued. On the other hand, the art style looks like generic AI slop and completely loses that gorgeous painting-like beauty of the original games.

And of course Yves never fulfilled his promise to Ancel to make UbiArt open-source, so UbiArt is basically dead with a 0% chance to be used ever again.
