It's crazy if you ever replay FF7 and see just how expertly paced it was. Midgar was a long section but it still moved pretty quick so that the game could send you out to explore, but in the remake they stretched absolutely everything in Midgar out to last as long as it possibly could.The sewers and trainyard in the remake are the worst compared to the originals, since they used to just be like 2-3 screens and then you were moving on instead of side areas that take an hour to navigate.

I personally think the final game is going to be titled Redemption. There are only so many words that start with R that would fit into the narrative/theme, so you can narrow it down. It's the final game, and I feel like redemption would fit it, but redemption is a bit too long and fancy, so I doubt they'll use it. It'd have to be something simpler but also shorter to say. I really don't think it's return because that seems boring.

If they did the overworld like old school games, it could've been 1 game. Doing it like Rebirth/third game means it had to be split up. The asset creation alone is insane for a linear game much less one trying to make a coherent world
