Then the game was part of some kind of direct/stateofplay/showcase/whatever event. And then the demo got real traction after the demo had actually been advertised. But Like 24-48 hours later, the demo was pulled from storefronts as the next fest ended and then discussion of the game was decimated even though a small handful of people were now playing the full game. That's what I remember. I have no idea what you saw but it was not what I saw.

You get one weapon, a few combos, a ranged attack, and a parry. You will parry a fuck ton. Not really into these kinds of games so I can't say much but it did feel at times like enemies were too aggressive for me to try and do more than one fairly fast combo.
