Coming from DS3 and ER I actually had to look up a guide to defeat this boss because, well, im just so stupid. Can you believe you have to attack its weakpoint for massive damage? Tell me how i was supposed to figure that out

>>740246052It's funny how this goes over people's head. The objective is not to traverse some powerful gate that blocks you from accomplishing your mission. The objective is to grow stronger by defeating the four powerful lords or by accumulating a large amount of souls(1 million) so that you can finally face the real challenge. It works the same way in Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 1. It's a test of might not an obstacle that must be circumvented by acquiring powerful souls.
