But it needs to sell me on it enough for me to care to go through part1 and part2 too. And why aren't people bothered by how the adventure fucking restarts at the start of each part instead of actually being one continuous adventure like in the original? With all my character levels, skills, items, and prior world/game choices all being reset. I hate the remakes. I am not even a fan of FF16, but we could have been anticipating FF19 already if it wasn't for the remakes.

And FF17, FF18, and FF19+ would have still been a lot more exciting. Potentially at least. I wouldn't exactly be hopeful given how they've done Final Fantasy for the last decade or two. But at least they'd be new games so they could always surprise. Potentially.

Playing Remake into Rebirth is already a massive fucking pain when Remakes 30+ hours long and Rebirth is 60+ hours long plus all the extra side content shit you could do, tacking on Reunion or whatever part 3 will be will be which will also probably be the longest one yet will make playing all 3 back to back retarded long.

They don't maintain their memories/souls, as those don't actually exist in FF7. 7R vaguely suggests that there's something beyond the Lifestream that dictates the flow of life and destiny, though. Something even higher than the Whispers.
