>>740243405>nothing worksFor you, mouth breather
>>740243405been using arch linux for 12 years and it works fine. whats wrong with it?
>>740243405this is what it feels like when a nigga say some baka-ass shit
My melanin-enriched distant relative, in a Libre operating system everything works unless your hands are growing out of your ass. Which is not too terrible and can be fixed with knowledge and experience, putting your hands back where they should be.I started using Microsoft OSes from MS-DOS, I think it was 2.1 or something similar enough. Libre OSes are straight up better. The catch is they require investment of time and effort. And either not be a dumb fuck or maybe have your husband do everything for you, I guess. Windows was okay until 7, including, and then it nosedived even harder than Vista and 7 did. 7 is at least perfectly usable even if bloated.
>>740244067Fan control almost always sucks. Some VPNs don't work on it. Drivers (nvidia card) are hit or miss. Sometimes, the system doesn't detect my front audio jack on the PC (where I plug my IEMs in)I can probably think of a few more too, but I've had problems with all of the above
>>740244615none of these are arch linux problemsyou sound like you have no idea what you're doing
>>740244767It's Linux as a whole. Linux mint has the audio jack problem. Arch and arch-based distros have the fan control problem. Certain vpns not working is for all Linux distros since the login hook doesn't work or the VPN provider doesn't have it as a .runAnd I can go further into the audio stuff since my mobo has alc4080 audio codec and sound on Linux is crap even when adjusting ALSA to run at best settingsAUR can be crap at times and while rare, yay can also fail
>>740245152>Linux as a whole>distros have ... problemNot him, but a "distro" is the kernel and a bunch of programs a bunch of neckbeards decided to call a distributive. Unless you're claiming all of your problems are in the kernel, in which case they would've been fixed by now if this was actually the case, the real problem is in either incorrectly configured programs or replaceable programs themselves.>the login hook doesn't workWhy?>or the VPN provider doesn't have it as a .runAnd?>alc4080Looked it up, hardware problem.>b-but someone spent gorillions of $$$ to work around its problemsIf that's how you put it, spend orders of magnitude less to fix it but now with source code available to slop and humankind.>sound on Linux is crap even when adjusting ALSA to run at best settingsElaborate.>AUR can be crap at timesIs that surprising?
