Here are the things getting changed/written out of P4R>Kanji boss changed to be less stereotypical, removing/changing the models of nice guy/tough guy>Yukiko no longer grabs her crotch in the shadow reveal cutscene>Shadow Chie is redesigned to no longer be a dominatrix sitting on other HS girls>Rise is no longer a stripper, dungeon, boss, and entire theme completely reworked to an overworked/manipulated Idol/Performer theme>Yukiko no longer jokes about wanting to kill the fat chick at the school camping trip>Any lines where Yosuke says something about being unsafe around Kanji are cut or rewritten>Any lines where Teddie pervs on the female party members/characters are cut or rewritten>Adachi massively toned down, written to be more like a loser similar to Mitsuo. All scenes of him calling his victims bitches and telling them to beg are rewritten or removed>Speaking of Mitsuo there will be more scenes of him being a creep to the female party members to further justify his dungeon>The group argument about killing Namatame at the hospital is rewritten entirely, basically becomes an on rails segment where you'd have to purposefully select all the worst dialogue options to fail, along with all the party members constantly hinting at this being the wrong option if you keep deciding to kill him>Any mention of body alteration by Naoto or her shadow are rewritten or removed>Various other minor dialogue rewrites to fit modern audiences.Discuss

It’s not going to be as extreme as the op says, though a lot of things will have to change for “the modern audience”. It will be interesting to see how they handle hanako.
