I am playing the PS2 VOTOMS game and just translating the menus on my phone. I can't tell if I like it or not. The Scopedog feels really great to pilot but the game is just so barren.I'm not what exactly this is supposed to say, but it consistently translates something on this menu to "cumshot"
i'm replaying battletech. i used to run rogue tech and was stunned by how many things it added to the game. but upon trying recently, the dev has decided to remove all balance and fun from it. my very first mission took almost 2 hours because i couldnt hit anything. they ruined it.so i tried bta instead and its pretty good so far. i do have some gripes - in defend missions i get 'waves' of enemies that spawn inside the base. rt always spawned them away and they had to move forward. and when they do this they give enemies a bonus where you cant hit them at all until the next round (spawn safety or something)

TTM actually matters, moving or standing matters, sensors matter way more than they do in any other mods as they should, weapon optimal ranges matter hugely for accuracy way more so than any other mod. Its fairly easy to hit 40-60% hit rates on fresh crews if you understand the mechanics, though that being said they do keep fucking nerfing anything fun. two seasons ago you could put battle armor in hovercrafts and attack out of the ports but now its relegated to only be in certain wheeled apcs. Its worth watching a video from someone whos not shit to figure out how the tabletop mechanics actually work for aiming.

But you're time-constrained in what you can do because you have to keep up the momentum and keep hitting the enemy or the theatre you're currently operating in will reset.It's a surprisingly amazingly good game.And quickly gets quite hard.
