When I was playing Skyrim for the first time as a 12 year old I didn't know you could look at and rotate items in your inventory.
I didn't know how to switch perk trees, so I assumed you had to fully level destruction magic before you could move onto the next tree. I was playing a two handed warrior that was forced to fall back to magic every fight.
I didn't know how to spend Dragon Souls either, because the edges of the screen were cut off on my CRT so I couldn't read any of it.
I couldn't see the quest item popup in the top left either.
When I got to Whiterun the game bugged out and the guard didn't start dialogue with me, so I assumed you just had to murder one of them to get in.
The last thing I remember doing before I switched to PC was selling everything in my inventory for a dwarven chestplate.
I was a very stupid child.
What's your gaming retardation story?
