I thought the whole point of being anti woke was that we didn't want female characters replacing male characters, but more specifically, poorly written female characters. Faye isn't an S tier character or anything, but she's not a Mary Sue. I'm just trying to understand. I see people like Critical Drinker immediately make content on it complaining about "modern audience," again, and I'm sick and tired of it.

Did Sarah Conner replace a male character? Did Ripley? Why did they work? They had many masculine traits and they worked because those women were protecting their families. I say Faye is doing the same thing. I'm willing to give this game a chance while I think everyone else is whining for no reason

I'm not. Modern GoW devs have earned zero good will from me. Why would i pay to subject myself to their messaging? I wouldn't even do it for free. They would have a hard time getting me to play it for reasonable financial compensation.
