Transport Tycoon Deluxe
Pretty much the best game for trains
>>
Anyone else here who doesn't want to learn any meta? Being too efficient takes the fun out of this game.

I can see your point, but there's also a lot of fun on having 500 trains running at the same time. You can also argue that all meta was born from «mindless» play. There's a great article by V453000 where he says he pretty much spent his early days on OTTD doing whatever he wanted). So, that's good, too.
How about some screenshots? I am curious about your games

5 mostly out of habit I guess and it seems like a good middle ground that's suitable for both high and low production.

Oh and btw OpenTTD makes buses way better. Look up unbunching (easy) and timetables (requires practice) to make them run smoothly in the most efficient manner

Unbunching is so good. I can't believe we lived without it for so long

I've been experimenting with 50 tiles long trains. Very fun, desu. Everything you know goes out the window. I even turned off the penalty for trains longer than the station

Man, that looks really cool. Never seen canals like that, is it just a railway reskin?
