Anyone who plays competitive 4 / Ultimate suffers from self-imposed Stockholm syndrome, because it's all they know, and all they're willing to know. You could put the most perfect competitive platform fighter in front of them and they'd refuse to play it if it didn't have a Nintendo coat of paint, because that's ultimately what they want.There are basically 4 real platform fighters worth playing: Melee (obviously), 64 Remix, Rivals 2, and P+. NASB2 gets an honorable mention, but that's its own can of worms.
