I think there was a real missed opportunity here. The game defines becoming human as going on MLK Jr esque protests, fighting civil rights, and singing soul songs with guns prepared to shoot you.

It would have been more interesting if there was a duality of what it meant to become human. If you choose to take Connor down a bad path, and tries to take down Marcus, that is considered remaining a machine. But I think it would have been more interesting if they portrayed that as a potential way of becoming human for Connor. That is, becoming a sociopath obsessed with taking down his enemy no matter the cost.

If Connor 'remains a machine' he is still shocked when he is going to be disassembled after completing his mission (which is inconsistent with remaining a machine), and this was only included to make you feel bad for choosing that path, and not realizing the importance of civil rights.

I think, at the very least, it would have made the game more complex than just being a simple civil rights allegory.

>fighting civil rights
fighting for civil rights

My bad.

Whole game should've been Connor and Hank
the other stories fell off hard

>Give dindu a more soulful eye color than abyssal black to help ingratiate it to the audience.
(((David cage))) remains a living failure.

i agree

the one with the woman escaping with the little girl was my least favorite. it had nothing to do with the main story and played out like "and then this happens" with each segment

Alice being a robot the whole time completely ruined her plot for me, the only impact i felt is when alice dies while Kara ambiguously moves on with her life after holding her liveless body

The game shits itself if you keep Connor as a machine while also playing Markus as a cop killing terrorist and have a decent relationship with Hank, he'll still end up on the rooftop at the end trying to stop you from killing Markus, which makes no sense. Should have been an option for you and hank to team up and take markus down together.

Hank was a cuck, killed himself in my playthrough even before Connor terminated all the cyberwakandists.

Fucking David Cage man, just when you think there's a story between an android and a human building and maintaining a loving relationship, bridging the gap between the two, he just shits all over it and makes her an android the entire fucking time. So what was even the point? I don't understand his logic.

Not that it really mattered anyway, cause Alices entire personality was just "I love you Kara!", it was so unbearable that people still ask if she was even a deviant or just playing the role as the child who unconditionally loves you

there's no sides to the story
the conflict makes the androids ALL 100% the good guys when in reality some of them would have psychopathic superiority complex's since machines have to think 100% logically with things. I doubt there wouldn't be ones that think they're above humanity itself.

Did you play the game?
You can become a civil war type muderbot if you want to

He's right though, that protest scene happens regardless of what path you pick
