He's literally made two videos now seething about Mina the Hollower because he was too stupid to figure out where to go or how to interact with mirrors.

This is the state of modern gamers when you don't signpost everything with yellow paint.

After his review of MH tri it was clear to me he wasn’t actually very good and I stopped caring about his opinions. Unlike AVGN he’s at least still sincere and somewhat amusing.

someone stop him!!!

Literally who?
>>
>>740269240
>>740269461
He also got filtered by the High Halls fight in Silksong, then made a whole video essay defending himself.
>>
>>740269240
Is he still splitting his paycheck with people who get 1/100th of his views?
>>
>>740269618
Yahtzee has been a literal who for years. Nobody gives a shit about him besides other has-beens.
>>
>>740269240
How do you use mirrors?
>>
>>740269240
He's right to complain, if you put a useless feature on the action button but hide actual mechanics that is needed to beat the game - you are a shitty dev
>>
He's right, I looked up the mirrors too. I tried walking into them and pressing all the buttons and nothing ever happened. Completely retarded. At least put in an animation that looks like you're slowly moving into the mirror while pressing up to show that something is happening.
>>
>>740269240
isn't there a npc that walks into the mirror at the manor once you do one tower?
that's how i figured you could enter mirrors
>>
>>740269240
I was genuinely gobsmacked when he admitted to not realizing drifting made you boost in Mario Kart. Like Jesus Fucking Christ.
https://youtu.be/9pca3Eqsrb8?t=107
What else doesn't he get?
>>
>>740273656
It's obvious you're supposed to get into the mirror... the newspapers even tell you but there is like no feedback that pressing up does anything unless you really know what to look for
>>
>>740273823
I kinda knew due to game logic but I assumed you needed an item to unlock them
>>
>>740269240
no one ever accused Yahtzee of being good at video games.
>>
>>740273937
I thought it was a password with doing the right eye movements in the mirror or something
>>
>>740273992
speaking of the reflection, I kept expecting that some creepy figure would show up behind mina if you used the mirror for too long, but it never happened
>>
>>740269240
>has never once been insightful
>has never once been skilled
>has never once been funny
>somehow has billions of views
a mystery
>>
>>740269240
Why are you still seething about that guy? Is it because he criticized a game you like and you can't handle opinions different from your own? Just say whatever and move on, faggot.

I genuinely thought that being invisible was the prerequisite to entering the mirror world, which I made the conclusion based on being able to make Mina invisible once you unlock the custom dyes (also because I thought I saw the character that went into the mirror world at the Ossex manor being invisible with floating garments). I did the first half of the mirror world invisible until I tried entering the mirror world again with default dyes and it still worked.
>>
The best game "reviews" I see on YouTube are from guys who beat difficult games without dyin, 1CC, etc... and don't comment during the gameplay, but write in detail in the comments section about what they thought of the game, the challenges they faced, what they liked most, and so on.
It's really a whole other level of quality compared to the 45+-year-old normalfags who grew up on mainstream stuff and couldn't play shit.
>>
>>740273656
It's something you can miss, which is a big chunk of problems with other quality of life items/upgrades you could end up missing out on because of the open world nature of the game.
>>
so this game isn't casual zelda slop but actually la-mulana kino
>>
>>740269240
His critique is really funny given his own game(s) suffer this exact problem but 10x worse arguably
>>
>>740269461
I stopped watching back when he gave Silksong a bad review for being too big and having too many secrets. Talk about game journalist brain...
>>
>>740275461
did he ever finish the stardew in space game?
>>
>>740270656
>>740275672
I watched that review when I was pretty early in the game. Now that I've beaten it I'm baffled that he dropped it only about a third of the way in.

Imagine how he would have fared against the actual difficult parts.

VIDEO GAMES, FAGGOT, VIDEO GAMES!
>>
>>740275993
It did i think, but like all his games it will only gets asapats from his friends. His work is almost always derivative and never truely original. Hes a glorified mspaint editor but for game dev.
>>
>>740269240
I thought Mina was kind of obvious and easy. You have to seriously pay no attention at all.
I'm a stupid failure and play videogames while drunk off my gourd, I think this is kinda silly.

>>740275461
They were fine. His main problem for his games is that the man cannot draw and has terrible taste and should never make art for a game again, but there's nothing in the Chzo Mythos or Poacher, or whatever the fuck that roguelike was called, or whatever that I thought left you up shit creek. At least hint-wise.
>>
>>740269240
he's an actual retard, Mina's soft tutorialization is perfect at guiding the player while respecting their intelligence and autonomy and most of the traversal blockades are open ended wherin you can just bypass them with the right equipment
>>
>>740274704
Yes, actually.

There are some really brutal puzzles that feel incredible when you solve them, though most are optional.
>>

There was no way he could've known the mirrors were important.
>>
>>740269240
I'm reminded of the "Design Delve" episode where the retard openly admitted to not knowing to manage his inventory weight in DD2 and blames it on the game.
Despite the first camp having the Item Box and Class Change in the same menu.

Comments were shitting on him but then they all got filtered/deleted.
Why does anyone watch these retards anyway?
>>
>OH MY GAWD SISTERS CAN YOU BELIEVE AN ECELEB HAD AN OPINION THAT'S DIFFERENT THAN MINE?????
>HOW CAN I LIVE WITH MYSELF KNOWING THAT SOMEONE DOESN'T THINK EXACTLY THE WAY I DO????

You don't know NOTHING about bedrock intranet culture fucko
